Should I Install CPG BIOS Executable for Windows/DOS File Name: L702X_A19.exe
Dear Dell XPS Community
My XPS is no longer supported, but so far this is my best PC which runs like a jet after I upgraded the hardrive and ram, so looking at a page which speaks about installing the last BIOS Update of 2020.
With the upgrades of my hardware, I upgraded to Windows 10
This BIOS upgrade, I would of thought to be for the XPS Windows 7.
Would I still be able to install "CPG BIOS Executable for Windows/DOS: L702X_A19 executable file" on this XPS 17 L702x which now has a Windows 10 OS?

A BIOS upgrade can sometimes bricked the machine and rendered it unusable. Unless the machine has issue and a BIOS flash may resolve it, one need not to attempt just because the update is available.
If your XPS is running well, there is no need to update the BIOS and taking a risk to gain nothing.
