Touchpad not clicking
So today the touchpad on my XPS 15 7590 stopped making the click sound and feeling. It still clicks, although requires A LOT of effort and clicking and dragging is extremely hard now. Drivers say up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled anyways and still have this issue. It's so minor but that actual feeling of an easy click makes such a huge difference, plus I can just barely highlight a whole line or click and drag the scroll bar. Is it time I unscrew the back? Please help

Your system is fairly new from what I can see but just curious, are you seeing any lifting on the touchpad where it seems raised in the palmrest?

Since one of the first signs of a battery that's swelling is trouble with the touchpad, remove the base cover and check both sides of the battery. There's a good chance that the battery is the cause of the problem - if it's at all swollen, remove it and replace it as soon as you can.
