Mine shows about 380 MBs with nothing going on, such as playing back music. It may depend on what type of sound devices you have available for use.

I am sure you understand, folks that are not running that much memory cannot tell where you system is using it, but you have to tell us.
Start by using resmon.exe in and run box and see what your situation shows in that Memory section. When I am playing music, the memory usage goes up slightly. Depending on what you find, you may be able to track down the memory use.
There might be other than these two processes involved in your situation.

If you can't find anything, you may have had a memory leak at some point. You could try shutting down Waves and then in the Task Manager, right click those two processes and select to End Task. Maybe that would allow the extra memory to be dumped.
