XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 Screen Static on Bootup

Question

I've had my computer for a few days now and this started happening - every bootup. The lower line forms and goes across the screen, ending in the top pattern (I can provide a video) - it all takes a few secs. FW/BIOS up-to-date according to support assist. I've also had a case of fuzzy-ness when connected to my dell 27" inch USB-C (thunderbolt) monitor which didn't go away until I rebooted. I'm getting nervous that something is going bad.

Just noticed the same issue wth my dell 2in1 as well. Interested to learn why odd static is occuring.

I was told to boot in safe mode and delete the display driver...that seemed to fix the problem.

I think This is a problem of VGA chip?Is this laptop has dedicated VGA?like nvidia? Thanks

I have the same situation with screen static on bootup. Laptop purchased on Nov 29, 2019. Noticed issue on Dec 7, 2019 (was out of town from Nov 29-Dec 7). Can I get a support ticket opened? Also have Dell 7390 2 in 1.

Hello,

I recently started having the same issue.

Whenever I power on my laptop (XPS 13 7390 2-in-1) I see white static lines on my Dell startup screen.

Is there a way to get this fixed?

I bought my laptop at the end of 2019.
