XPS 13 9300, Bluetooth audio issues

Question

I purchased my Dell XPS 13 9300 in June and have recently wanted to use Apple AirPods headphones to watch videos/listen to music. However, the sounds coming out on whatever platform I use seems like I'm in a cave with a lot of echoes and on top of that, audio is also very choppy sometimes (sound keeps going off despite video/music is still playing). I keep trying to turn on and off Bluetooth as well as reconnecting my Apple AirPods but nothing's working. I tried playing around with Sound Settings and Device Properties but that doesn't seem to work either.  Another Bluetooth issue is that the laptop keeps disconnecting my phone and when that happens, the Bluetooth icon disappears as well so I end up having to restart my laptop. This is annoying because I use DMC (Dell Mobile Connect) while I do work. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Update October 27 = I found a pair of wired earbuds and was able to play around with the settings and it seems to have fixed my issues. I first tried to troubleshoot the audio and it fixed two issues. I also found the setting to disable all audio enhancements and it also worked for my Apple Airpods.
