XPS 13 9300 Crashes regularly.

I purchased my XPS 13 9300 laptop just under 16 months ago, so support has been lapsed for nearly 4 months.

It is for home use and not running any heavy weight apps and is generally just used for email and browsing with occasional use of MS Office. Although I had the occasional issue under warranty/support, in the last 2 months it has crashed a number of times, sometimes screen freeze and sometimes Blue Screen with sad smiley and the words '  Your Device has a problem and needs to restart. We're Just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.' Today I left it for over an hour but as usual it never does restart and remains frozen on that screen. The only way to resolve is force it to power down holding the power button for 20 seconds.

The laptop cost over £2000 so I would have expected it to be much more stable and resilient. Do you think this is acceptable performance after only 16 months?
