XPS 13 9370 Bluetooth disappeared
After 3 years of solid BT connectivity, Bluetooth just disappeared from my machine this afternoon.
No option to switch it on or off, all devices still showing as paired but "Bluetooth switched off".
Tried a few suggestions from various forums but ended up re-flashing the BIOS with the latest (which was already installed) and now its back to normal & working ok.
Thought I'd make a note here in case it helps anyone... and so I can find the resolution easily if (when?) it happens again.

The first fix to try is to open Settings, Devices and check if Bluetooth is turned on.

Yep - the point is that the Bluetooth setting itself had disappeared!
For all intents and purposes, the PC decided that it no longer had a bluetooth radio.
Anyway, as noted above, after a fun afternoon of tweaking settings, replacing drivers etc. the solution in the end was to re-flash the BIOS to the same (latest) version as was already installed - at which point it remembered that BT was a thing.

he other possibility is to go to device manager and delete the BT driver. Rebbot and it should reinstall and show up in settings again. It did for me on my XPS-13

There is nothing for you to select in device manager as "Bluetooth"

By re-flashing bios, dies that mean you basically erased your whole PC and started over?

No, the BIOS Basic Input/Output System is stored on a non-volatile ROM chip on the motherboard and is essentially the first bit of software that runs once the computer starts. This has nothing to do with the programs and data that is stored on your hard drive.

Where can I obtain the procedure to do this?

On the Dell website, select "Support", find your system, then select the "drivers and downloads" section. Manually find the lates BIOS and install it.
Good luck

I'm on XPS 9575, reinstalling BIOS would not help. In BIOS, system info is showing that Bluetooth is not present.

@ECharles Went to Drivers and Downloads and it auto-detected my system and I downloaded and installed the Latest Bios to fix the problem. Hope this helps someone else too
