XPS 13 Plus | Native OneDrive Client - File Explorer Sync Status Overlay Icons Missing

The OneDrive sync status icon overlays do not show up on the left-hand navigation tree in Windows File Explorer, no matter what we do on XPS 13 Plus model.

Have tried re-imaging from clean hard drive many times. Have tried installing different versions of OneDrive client. Have followed all common steps found on the web, to fix general problems with OneDrive overlay icons. No other programs/software are being installed to the machine anyways. Right after re-image, you can sign into OneDrive client and test out. Never works.

To clarify, this is the location in File Explorer I am referring to. The folders have been re-mapped to the signed in OneDrive client, but no overlay icons.

As opposed to the following example (on a different computer of ours), in which the overlay icons are present:

We have more than 200 units deployed in our fleet, all Dell. A mix of XPS 13, XPS 15, Precision & Optiplex. No other model has this issue. It is only ever present with the 5 units of XPS 13 Plus models.
