XPS 15 9570 Ram issue
I have a XPS 15 9570 (2018) which is now out of warranty. All of a sudden it refused to boot flashing 2 amber lights and 4 white. So RAM problem.
I have only the 2 8gb factory ram sticks in it. I bought 2 new 16Gb Corsair ram sticks (Corsair DDR4 SODIMM Vengeance 2x16GB 2666)
I replaced the 2 8Gb with the 2 new 16Gb sticks => flashing 2 amber lights and 4 white
If I place one 8Gb stick in slot A or slot B => laptop boots fine.
If I place one 16Gb stick in slot A or slot B => laptop boots fine.
If I place two 8Gb stick in slot A and slot B => flashing 2 amber lights and 4 white.
If I place one 8Gb stick in slot A and one 16Gb in slot B => laptop boots fine.
If I place one 16Gb stick in slot A and one 8Gb in slot B => laptop boots fine.
So it seems that it only fails to boot when both sticks are in together of the same size. And so it seems to me that is not a ram stick issue.
What could this be? Can this be fixed ? Bios update?

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Vengeance is aggressively timed high performance RAM which has a poor track record with Dell systems. Before going further, you may want to try RAM certified to work in your system.

Thats not true, you just react to get links to your site for linkbuilding And a 404 is not helping with that..
I bought this RAM on recommendation of: https://www.windowscentral.com/best-dell-xps-15-compatible-ram

Link here, fixed: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/xps-15-(9570)
I have nothing to do with Crucial other than to tell you they offer a money-back guarantee that RAM purchased with their configurator will work.
Did the recommendation from that site come with a money back guarantee? If so, avail yourself of that. If not, and you don't want to gamble on other untested RAM, buy from Crucial -- or, if you don't like them, Kingston offers a memory configurator that will show you RAM that's certified to work (though they sell primarily through retailers, very few if any of whom offer money-back guarantees).

That's strange, they are a common upgrade choice for Dell laptops, reportedly working on a great number of XPS models... If you are sure you have installed them the right way, then I would think one of them is defective. Have you tried testing one module at a time? Do they work separately?

I've got the same issue with Crucial CT2K16G4SFD8266. I've installed it correctly but The laptop isn't booting up and Ihave 2x amber + 4 white led. I don't know how to fix it anyway...

I had contacted Dell and at the end it seems that it was a failure of the mainbord. My XPS was older then 2 years, but it was still under warranty. Dell fixed it for free.

They worked with half of the set installed , 1 original + 1 Crucial. Strange though
