XPS 17 9710
Hi,
There is a problem with NVIDIA Platform Controllers and Framework device.
Windos can't load driver for this device.
Windows 11, BIOS 1.17.0
Does somebody know how to fix this issue?

Laptop drivers are customized by Dell and even updated by Dell. Get the Dell drivers instead of Nvidia's.

I have tried a clean install from dell's site and the issue still exists.

My brother found the solution. It turns out that turbo boost 3 (processor overclocking) and nvidia boost cannot work on this computer at the same time. you can turn off turbo boost 3 in the bios, after which this nvidia thing will work. in the description of turbo boost 3 in bios it is written about it.

My 9710 came with it.
Error code: nvpcf.sys
Just started late Tues night, 7-11-23.
I cannot get anything to work. I was able to get Safe Mode one time. I've had to enter the ridiculouy long MS key over 50 times.

I haven't changed any setting, in that category, since I bought the 9710 new. Just all of a sudden the laptop will not open. I keep getting the error code nvpcf.sys

I had the same BSOD for a couple of days due to nvpcf.sys with endless reboots and errors on drive.
I've renamed nvpcf.sys to anything else and then boot was possible again.
Additionally, since at least 6 months I had the Error-code 31 on "Nvidia platform controllers and framework" as well and had lenghty discussions with Dell Pro-Support. Endless reinstallation of NVidia drivers didn't help as well.
Today, I have solved both issues together by completely deinstall NVidia drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), but interesstingly it left some NVidia in Device Manager after reboot. Then I manually deinstalled via Devicemgr everything that had Nvidia in it's name like a second "Nvidia platform controllers and framework".
You should do this in Safe-Mode.
Now, after normal reboot, all drivers were automatically installed after a few minutes and now even "Nvidia platform controllers and framework" has been loaded without error.
