XPS 9350 Camera stops working after 3 seconds

Not sure when this started, but any video or camera application is affected.

  1. Camera will start and the indicator light is on.
  2. Camera will shut off after 3 seconds, no video, but the indicator light stays on.
  3. Close application, indicator light still stays on.
  4. Try to reopen any video or camera app, no display.
  5. Rebooting resets the sequence.

What I've tried:

  1. Updating the BIOS to the latest, 4/8/2025.
  2. Deleting the camera and drivers from Device Manager.
  3. Uninstalled anti-virus security software (Bitdefender).
  4. Followed the steps in the Dell Accepted Solution:  ‎Dell XPS 13 9350 camera stopped working | DELL Technologies

I have also been getting the Blue Screen of Death in some cases when the camera is being accessed.

I have Pro Support but have no idea how to open a ticket on this issue.   There is "camera" option in the list of problems when starting a ticket, and choosing Other Not Listed takes me nowhere.
