XPS 9520 touchpad issues - lags and gets stuck

Hi all,I have noticed somewhat similar issues with XPS 9520 as already brought up for XPS 9510 in this thread https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-15-9510-Touchpad-Intermittent-touchpad-lag/m-p/8012567/highlight/true#M88099 .I haven't noticed yet any pattern what triggers this behavior, all of the sudden moving cursor with a touchpad starts lagging a lot. Sometimes the touchpad becomes unresponsive completely. Occasionally lagging also disappears all of a sudden. The easiest solution to recover has been so far complete shutdown and reboot. Only restart has not helped. I'm using Ubuntu so cannot comment anything for Windows. But based on discussions, for example in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/-/issues/618 , it looks that the issue is likely hardware or firmware related.There was a driver fix released for 9510 but not sure whether it was already included in BIOS update for 9520, https://www.dell.com/support/home/fi-fi/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=t95y2&oscode=wt64a&productcode=xps-15-9510-laptopWould you have experienced similar issues with XPS 9520 and found solutions to make in between shutdowns unnecessary?

Thanks for the links! Need to keep in mind to reinstall Windows for troubleshooting as a last resort

The issue seem to be really intermittent, for example I haven't noticed issues in last two days. But I'll try to find out ways to reproduce the issue. I also noticed that there have been similar issues with 9320, just wondering whether mentioned firmware update, planned for next month, is applicable also for 9520 ( https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-13-Plus-9320-Touchpad-malfunctioning/m-p/8362863/highlight/true#M107604 ).

I have the same issue here and no one is able to tell me how to fix it ... I've tried to get in touch with dell's support but there was no luck ... I've also tried some on the solutions listed there in this issue open here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/-/issues/618

But with no luck either ...

Please someone from Dell can reach out with a solution?
