XPS 9560, Screen blue color contrast issue

Question

Hi guys, I have an issue with my XPS 9560. The screen is displaying blue color somehow with too much contrast and not smooth. I found that some people had similar issue but it was bios related. So far If I turn on Low Blue Light in dell color application, then the screen seems to be ok.

With Low blue light its ok but yellowish tint

Bios version 1.24.0

Has anyone experienced this behavior?

What do the self-test screens look like? To run a screen test, hold the D key through powerup.

Do they show the same blue defect, or are they acceptable?

If they're OK on the test screen, you may need to alter your color profile.

If the blue cast appears on the test screens, it could be a deteriorating LED backlight in the display -- the color profile can change as the LEDs age (and this system is aging, as it is about six years old).

The firmware has nothing to do with the issue -- if the test screens were OK, run a color calibration until you're happy with the results.

Some firmware revisions were for security issues with Intel's management engines and cannot be downgraded.

In overall it looks ok. Hard to tell. But seems like the screen has bluish tint in bios as well. And compared to my other XPS 9570, the screen is not that bright. As I found, they say that it is related to the latest bios version, but I can not downgrade at all. It does bios update successfully but after reboot it will ask to enter bios. I check version, it is correct older version, but then it asks "To complete bios update, restart" So after that restart it restores back to new version.

How to downgrade the bios???
