xps l702x boot message "operation system not found"
i have a dell xps l702x with 4gb ram, 256gb ssd i7 core processor.
whenever I try to boot the screen comes up with a message, "operation system not found," but when I look in boot setup the ssd shows up in the boot sequence.
can you guys tell me if these are some factors to this problem:
1.I dont have the power adapter cable that came with the machine. I have a 65w cable but I know it originally came with a 130w cable.(icould get a 130w adapter if needed)
2.the battery is most likely shot. i come to this conclusion because the battery light flashes white and orange whenever i plug in the cable.

No the battery and adapter would not cause that problem, unless the system lost power and did not do a proper shutdown. That could cause corrupted files. That message simply means that Windows is not found on the SSD. It could be a corrupt Windows installation or possibly a corrupt or missing BCD. The following link should help you pinpoint the problem.

does my machine have 64 bit system support? i just plugged in another hard drive with windows 8.1 64 bit and i ran into the same problem. then a plugged in another drive with windows 7 32 bit and it booted fine. so is my machine 32 bit only?
