XPS not selecting the correct EFI partition.

To be brief, I have an XPS 15 7590 laptop that has windows 10 and 2 other linux distros installed (mageia and openSUSE). I ran out of EFI space doing an upgrade and this created a second EFI partition which I moved win 10 and the other distros over to. The second EFI partition works but BIOS refuses to save my boot order preference and always reorders the boot list putting the old EFI partition back in top. I did update my BIOS but it did not fix the problem. I’m thinking I might need a custom BIOS fix from DELL. Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful.

I solved my problem. I deleted the old partition and BIOS recognized my new EFI partition and listed it as the only EFI boot option available. I didn’t have to reload windows but I did have to re-install my Linux distros because the partition ID numbers had changed when I removed the old EFI partition. All is good for now.
