I am testing Backups with several machines with different options.  In that practive, I have to keep adding and removing the same machines to the Avamar Domains.  In doing so, I still see lot of backup of previous instances not seen in Avamar Console anymore.  How do I delete them?  By the way I see them in the Avamar Database tables.  For the project I am working, I have to query Avamar Database to collect the number of backups, size, new_bytes etc.  So I am seeing all these orphaned backups when I query the database.

Seems cid column is unique in the Avamar database and this can be used to get the needed backups.  I still do not know how I can remove them backups or they are just entries only as when we remove a machine, Avamar Admin Console tells that it will delete all the backups of the machine being deleted?  By the way, these are orphaned backups were created with 'Never Expire' retention policy option, may be that is the reason they still hanging out there?.
