Inspiron 15 7591, CPU overheating 100C, refund request
Hey Community,
I ordered my Dell Inspiron 15 7591 on the 22nd May 2020 and Received the Device on 02 June 2020.
Shortly after my laptop developed severe overheating issues. Without turbo boost reaching temperatures of 100C and without turbo boost temperatures of 83C.
I spoke to the Dell Tech Support Team and went through troubleshooting steps, Update Drivers, Disable Services, Disable startup programs, Turn off turbo Boost, etc etc. the list ended with reinstalling windows. And i did that, but no luck.
I was told by the Dell Support Representative that they will have to replace my fans and heat sink and i refused. I will not have a 7 Day old laptop go to the service center and get repaired. And i wanted to exercise my right to refund. However, I had been on call with customer care for 3 hrs yesterday and 1.5 hrs now as i write this with them just transferring calls between each other. I'm tired of this.
I wanted to try for a replacement, but looking at this behavior, I want to return and seek refund. Would request immediate support since my 14 days are coming soon.
