m1330 bluetooth driver question
Hi forum, here's my bluetooth question (m1330, vista home premium, integrated graphics, bluetooth 355, 4gb ram):
I recently got my m1330 laptop and reformatted it with vista to remove bloatware. I must have manually turned off the bluetooth radio before formatting because once I reformatted, it couldn't find the bluetooth adapter.
I searched the forums and found a patch that would manually turn on the radio and install basic drivers (google R159805 for the driver and info). however, this basic patch doesn't let me manually turn on or off the bluetooth adapter (using FN + F2, etc).
I googled "Dell wireless 355" and found this driver (which wasn't listed when i searched dell drivers under m1330): R159805. I haven't tried installing this new driver yet, but does anyone know if that is the correct one that was installed before i re-formatted? Will it give me the options to turn on or off the device? Will test when i get home, but wondered if anyone knew of the correct driver/software that would make the adapter work like before i reformatted.
Thanks!
Farrell
