Hi,

i hope I posted in right forum, I have a new dell  530 desktop with vista, I am trying to use the sleep feature.

I want to go to start click sleep and be able to have it sleep no matter how short or long a time and wake

when I touch my mouse or keyboard, a tech helped me set it for 5 mins to go off and it did   it was on when I woke up so thats

not what I want it to do, my screen was on this morning.

On xp I could go to start and click standby and no matter how long or short a time it would stay off till I touched my mouse

can one of you nice folks tell how to set this vista to do that, I think i may have changed a setting when I was tyrying to keep

my screen saver from coming on  or who knows what I changed.
