Outlook Express and XP Question
Hello:
This probably isn't the 'best" forum for an OE question, but thought i'd try anyway as most of the people who post here seem to be so knowledgeable.
Have a new Dell dimension 4300 which came with Outlook Express, vers 6. Running in XP.
I'm using it as my default e-mailer and news reader.
Works fine.
However, whenever the PC is first turned on, OE comes up automatically on the first screen, which I really don't want.
a. OE is NOT in the StartUp list.
b. Running RUN/msconfig shows nothing that "appears" to be Outlook Express related.
c. I have Unchecked the box in OE Options for checking mail upon startup
-There is nothing else that I can find in its Options, or anywhere, that is checked that says to open up automatically, or anything like that. Although, it is probably likely that there might be?
Any thoughts would be most appreciated.
How do I get it to Not open by itself?
Much thanks,
Bob rgsrose@tiac.net
