I am experiencing a problem in which my computer will not shutdown using the Start button. When selecting shutdown, the computer gets a GPF (can't read the entire message but it has something to do with VXd). Rather than shutdown, the computer reboots. The only way to shutdown the machine is using the power button. The machine is running Windows 98 SE.

Any advise on how to resolve this problem (or figure out what's going on) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
