Is there a way to enable hardware-assisted virtualization on a Studio 1735? I can't find anything in the BIOS that would hint at it.

Because of this , even though I am running Vista 64 (Dual-booting with Win7 RC1 x64), I am unable to use a 64 bit OS in VMWare 6.5 .

Also because of this I am unable to run Windows Virtual PC (beta - just released today) XP Mode under Windows 7.

My 1735 has a Core 2 Duo T5750, 4GB RAM, 320GB HD. I am running the latest available BIOS (A05 from Dec 5th, 2008).

 

Any suggestions (other than getting a different machine!) is appreciated!
