Please share the operating system installed and paste the screenshot of ‘Device Manager’ with ‘Network Adapters’ expanded. Please follow the steps below:

• Press ‘Windows’ key + R on ‘Desktop’ screen
• Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ in run box and press ‘Enter’
• Click > sign next to ‘Network adapters’

Please let me know where exactly getting the 1392 option for connection.

I did as you sait and 'Network Adapters' only showa 1934 net adapter.

also under 'Secure Digital host controllers', there is a second 'SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller' that is yellow.

By the way I should mention I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3 Instead of Vista.

I asked him whether he meant 1394 in my very first post, but he insisted he has a 1934.

I just purchased a used E6400 that was used in a business. The laptop shows "Wireless", but the only thing it recognizes is "1392". What do I need to do to recognize "Wireless"? Bob
