Just wondering, for those who have had issues with LCD monitors and needed Dell to send a replacement, did you notice the replacement was a refurbished monitor? I ask because I recently called Dell support regarding my new 2005FPW that had considerable backlight bleeding.

Anyway, I received the replacement monitor, but it was obviously used or refurbished. I closely examined the monitor and it had the following issues:

1. Defect on the screen
2. Scratches on the frame
3. Smudges on the screen that couldn't be removed with cleaners
4. Picture not as bright....(I had to totally adjust the settings in order to get the colors close to my current 2005FPW)

Furthermore, the monitor was shipped with just a plastic bag over the screen. It didn't include the protective plastic that comes with the factory new monitors.

I was just wondering if people had the same experience? I want to send this back as well, but now I feel like it's a lottery to get a replacement that fixes all of the above issues....
