ISP/DSL Connection

I am currently looking into purchasing the Inspiron 700m. I want to confirm that my high speed internet service that I have through my cable company is compatible with this notebook. How do I go about that?

You just went about that!  :smileyvery-happy:  Yes, it has a built-in ethernet port that will go to the cable modem's ethernet port.  I recommend spending $20 and getting a wired (or even wireless) router to offer protection from internet priers.
