One of my customer would like to go for manual installation instead of Gateway install wizard.

Do EMC support manual installation in newer version?

I don’t see the steps in any of the new documents. If it is supported, Please guide me any reference document for manual installation of ScaleIO software in Linux OS

Reason:

They are not ready to enter the root password in  open file for auto installation

They want to learn each steps required for installation which will help them in future troubleshooting.
