Hi all,

 

We have a MD3000i connected to 2 x R900 servers clustered running Server 2008.

Everything is up and configured as I'd like but I keep getting:

"Volume not on prefered path due to AVT/RDAC failover"

Have been all through the Guru details can ping all host ports, both iSCSI initiators have at least one session established.

Can resolve the problem by using the "redistribute Virtual Disks" from the "Manage Raid Controllers Modules" everything goes Optimal for around a couple of hours then out of nowhere the error re-appears?

For information there is no real I/O on the device yet as we are still in a build state, and while this doesn't seem to be affecting perfomance is definatley something I'd like to get to the bottom of!
