Precision 3640 SFF - Incorrect screen resolutions until dis/reconnected

We purchased a Precision 3640 SFF for our CFO as he did not want one of the regular tower style ones we already had. He has 2 Ultrawide displays that are 2560x1080 in resolution, which the Intel UHD Graphics 770 that the i7-12700 CPU has should be more than capable of driving. The machine is set up and working except for one small snag: After a reboot, one display always* comes up as 1920x1080, and does not show any higher resolutions available until the display is disconnected and reconnected. As soon as that is done, it comes up with the correct display resolution, and checking Display resolution the dropdown shows the full range of resolutions, from 2560x1080 on down. This follows regardless of which of the 3 DisplayPorts on the back is used, or which display a given cable is plugged into.

I have also juggled Intel Graphics driver versions, going as far back as 101.1994, using the Clean installation option to see if that makes a difference, it does not. The PC is currently back on the latest drivers Dell provides for this system. I have also reset the BIOS options, along with slowly changing things option by option back to our normal production user system defaults. Nothing changes how the display problem presents. I plan to open a ticket with Dell Support regarding this, but I wanted to see if anyone else has ever experienced this problem, and if so, what had to be done to resolve it.

*One time, and one time only, a display came up as 1920x1201 (Recommended) and had 1920x1080 on down listed in the Display resolution dropdown
