Greetings,

 

My Windows 98 system crashed on my Inspiron 7500 laptop.  I was able to run a linux-based system through a CD-boot disk which has allowed me to access the hard drive and backup critical files to an external hard drive. 

 

My question is about Outlook 2003.  How do I backup the (around 1000) messages in Outlook to the external drive?  I can't really run Outlook to archive the folders but are the individual messages stored someplace?  in which folder and what are they called?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much
