I need some help on a particular activity

Need to Create a Timefinder Snap on a datastore on a ESX box.

While the procedure from the storage end is somewhat clear to me .... I am feeling a little lost after reading a dew docs on the steps at the ESX side.

Please help clear the below doubts.

1) If I am Snapping the datastore to vdevs and presenting it to the same ESX will there be a conflict as the vdevs will hold a duplicate of the datastore

2) Can I present this snapped VDEVs to an existing VM.

3) Is this TF snap equivalent to clonning the source VMs.
