Either use cc cleaner to remove all non-essential software installed by Dell, or do a fresh clean install of Windows 10. You will not lose Windows credentials. The Windows 10 clean install will be automatically activated by Microsoft on line.

Remove using the McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool (MCPR)

IMPORTANT:

• Always download a new copy of MCPR before each use.  
  This ensures that you have the latest version, and that newer McAfee products can be successfully recognized.
  
• MCPR cleans up only the components needed for reinstallation. It is not designed to clean up 100% of components.
• Completing this step requires a restart.

Before you start:

• Bookmark or favorite this article so that you can easily get back to it.
• Save all open files.
• Close all programs.

1. Download the MCPR tool.
2. Double-click MCPR.exe.
3. If you see a security warning:
   
   Click Yes, Continue, or Run (depending on your version of Windows):

Sure as heck wish Dell would go back to letting you choose no A/V when purchasing. Especially on business systems. Ah, the good old Vostro days

Dell installed a McAfee subscription on my XPS 8930 and it ended about a week ago. I was getting popups to renew too, but they didn't take over the whole screen or force me to reboot.

I used McAfee's MCPR tool, as @speedstep recommended to you, and that was the end of McAfee. Windows Defender (free from Microsoft) was automatically enabled and running now.

Note: MCPR can't/won't remove everything that McAfee installed, as stated on their website. So I still have ~70 LiveSafe and McAfee files/folders on my PC. They need special "System" permission to be deleted and -so far- I haven't figured out how to do that.They're not very big files so not hogging a lot of space on the SSD, and I'm just ignoring them, for now...

I do, but it was so much nicer when I could actually roll out a machine without having to do so.

I have never ever likes McAfee I have had issues since Windows 98. First time I ever uninstalled McAfee on an old Compaq it removed some ini files I was getting missing files in dos while booting Windows 98 years ago. 

I just have never liked McAfee and my dad had Problems with it on a Windows 7 Gateway laptop it corrupted the BCD. That is what the shop said because at the time he lived in a different city and I was not able to go check it. 

They said after it was uninstalled it left files behind and eventually corrupted Windows. I have also noticed the removal tool leaves files behind. I also use revo uninstaller to uninstall McAfee.

Yes I wish that also. And I found out I was charged like $38.98 for McAfee. I should see if they will refund me because I never used it.
