Dell Alienware order process
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to know how the dell handles their orders? I just ordered a Dell Alienware m17 r3 gaming laptop. I am curious to know the process. And the laptop is already pre configured, it is not a custom build though. Does Dell have warehouse locations in US? Or do they have to ship it from overseas?

Alienware systems are built to order -- for the US, the notebooks are assembled by the manufacturer in China, and then shipped to a logistics site in the US for final conveyance to a local shipper.
Dell does not pre-build Alienware systems.

Dell will keep you updated by email on the progress of your order. Computers for US customers are shipped from Dell in the US where Dell is located. This has lots of info--
