EqualLogic ps6110 mix disk configuration advise
Hi all.
I have an equalLogic PS6110 currently configured with 14x 400gb SSD in raid 10 configuration.
We need more storage capacity but we are not currently in a position to buy more SSD HDD.
W e are looking at filling up the rest of the storage array with 10x 600gb 10k sas
Could anyone please tell me if this possible?
I saw in the documentation that we can mix 7 SSDs and the rest HDDs.
If I
have to stick to that rule, do I first replace the existing 7SDD with the 10k HDD one by one waiting
for it to resilver and then add the rest?
How does it work?
Also, will i need to change the raid to raid6 Accelerated?
