So I have been trying to get a T7610 workstation up and running for two months now, and even got the entire computer replaced at one point. I even saved an image of a fresh Windows 7 Pro install to a server for quick reimaging.

I would start with a fresh install, then the moment I install ANY kind of Intel LAN driver, whether it is for the PCIe card or the onboard, the computer would grind to a halt. I have tried from Dell's website, intel's website, and 3rd party sites. Installation takes 10 minutes, and during this time, I get "Installing drivers, please wait..." and the hard drive would completely fill up, then go back to normal. Afterwords, shutdown takes 10 minutes, up from 7 seconds originally, and startup takes over 15 minutes, up from just over 1 minute originally.

The computer is running an LSI RAID controller in RAID 5 using 4 x 2TB hard drives, as well as a 10 Gb intel ethernet adapter and dual Quadro K4000's. I also ran multiple Linux distros off a flash drive and ran diagnostics to make sure it wasn't a hardware problem. The installation did finish, and I got access to the internet, but rebooting is extremely slow.
