My dimension 4100 series machine currently has that bios A04. Dell indicates that the Dimension system Bios is A11. I anticipate clean install to Windows XP Pro and want to know do I changed the bios before I install the new OS  or afterwards.

 

Second, how do I make a backup the bios A04 in the event that the upgrade fails?
