I believe that this may very well be our last thread and our last opportunity to let our voices be heard. I have contacted ChrisM and he as said that he will stick this thread at the top as he has done for all of the previous 7. Dell is reading these posts that we have been putting up since July 3rd. If they truely didn't care they would tighten the Forum rules and put an end to it. I really do think that many Dell employees do care. In fact I know many do. I believe that Mr. Dell in his recent statements, that he wants to capture a peice of the gaming and high performance market, are sincere. I cannot think of a better, tougher and more loyal group that falls into that category, then all of us that have put up over 7000 posts! I encourage everyone that posts here, to speak as if you are being heard by Mr. Dell, the CEO, and every VP in Dell. Share with diplomacy, so that your awesome ideas aren't lost and never heard. Share with conviction, believing that what you have to contribute will make a difference. If what is shared here, are the missing ingredients to Dell's first attempt to capture the "enthusiast" market, than we need to assume that Dell will be Wise enough to make the necessary adjustments. It may mean that the BTX board needs to be redone and improved upon. It may mean that Dell, to "show" that they mean business about caring for the customer, may have to send replacement boards to those that endured quite a bit this summer. It may mean that many of us will not only buy Dell with enthusiasm, but influence our friends, families, and businesses without any reservations.

 

I have said all summer long that I like the Dell product. I want to see Dell improve their customer care. I hope that we can make a difference here! Please try to word your concerns and criticism so that ChrisM doesn't have to lock us down again. If you see a post that looks questionable, then send that person a PM. There are some huge technological break-throughs coming at us in the next couple of months. It is in our best interest and Dells to work together to insure that those of us that own XPS 700's didn't get on a road that is going to end soon!!
