Making a Wireless bridge - any ideas?
Hey guys, wonder if you could help?
I have an Inspiron with a Ethernet device and an external NetGear wireless device. Both work individually by connecting to a router, no problem.
I would like to turn this laptop into a wireless bridge so that another network device, such as a computer, or a PS2, could wire it self to the ethernet device and through my wireless card, connect to the router.
How do I do this? I've tried simply selecting both devices and creating a bridge, but it doesn't seem to work. Additionally, my wireless connection loses access to the internet. More telling, it cannot even see the router.
Any ideas?
