Laptop will not power up, when power button is pushed the middle led flashes (the "a" led) the power light on the right comes on the far right next to the delete key.  The led flashes for about 55 seconds and then everything shuts off.  The system does not boot although you can hear the drive spinning. 

Any help you would be appreciated.
