Hello Everyone,

I've an XPS17 (L702X) which is still more than adequate for my needs. The only real upgrade that'll have any real difference for me would be installing an SSD. I see that via Dell site that it'll cost ~£240 quid for a 256GB SSD and that's not including VAT or shipping. I know I can get one much cheaper and still of decent quality than that.

I'm already way past warranty with Dell, so do I have to get their specific SSD or can I get any SSD I chose and it still work?
