U4919DW, looking for KVM hotkeys?
Recently installed Dell 49" Curved double wide monitor U4919DW, and it has taken quite a bit of setup, with two computers. I have it mostly working. Using wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse, with USB stud in the back of monitor, so pretty good.
Computer #1 - Dell PC with USB 3 and DP connected
Computer #2 - MacBook with USB Type-C / Thunderbolt 3, leveraging a Dell docking station with Thunderbolt support.
Switching is a bit cumbersome, and have to hit the button and scroll down to select one monitor of the other. Not exactly what I would call a shortcut. In fact, pretty disappointed in the lack of real shortcuts for KVM switching.
Also, for anyone who seeks to connect to computers, the documentation is some of the worst. And no cool YouTube videos. Lots of trial and error. For example, it was not clear to me if I needed a separate video and USB for the MacBook. Turns out, the USB Type-C covers everything. But, I am getting errors about too much power to operate USB devices when I plug my iPhone into the downstream powered USB ports under the monitor. Not sure what that is all about.
At one point, I read about a keyboard shortcut, but cannot find it. I am looking for an easy way to switch between computers.
I am using the MacBook for softphone support, so I cannot even get to my headset, unless I hit the answer button on the MacBook, which is another story. Not sure why, as the headset wireless Dect USB plug is in the Mac docking station. That might be a Plantronics problem.

I'm not sure this helps, but if you download and install Dell Display Manager to your Windows PC, you'll find a "USB switch" hotkey you can define on the "Input Manager" page. This should allow you to quickly switch the USB hub back and forth between the Windows PC and the Mac, but you can only switch from the PC that DDM runs on.
If the Logitech is your only input device on the PC you won't be able to use DDM when the hub is assigned to the Mac. In which case, you can use the U49 "shortcut key": go into the U49 OSD, scroll down to "Personalize", select "Shortcut key 1" and assign it to "USB switch select".
