Any Idea ? to test that Networker Backups can be restored (VM)

Hello Community,

we are having a problem, that a internal corruption in a VM makes all backup unrecoverable (error during start of windows vm). Backups from last month run all fine, also the VM.

Now we must reboot this VM and we had a Bootsector issue. The restore through networkers shows the same error and all the remaining restore points too. Thats bad because we lost these VM.

Is there any Idea Scipt oder included function (or additional software) to verify backup data ... especially for VM Data? Veeam can do verification through SureBackup. I think these could be also done by use a script so start a instant restore (DD is backup data target) to a mounthost and boot/ping a vm ?

The question is, has anyone a similar solution working and use this to verify a restore should be successful ?

Thanks so much

Regards

Sven
