I have an Inspiron E1705 with Vista, Dell wireless card 1390 WLAN mini card, Intel Cor Duo 1.87 GHz,32 bit operating system. I will turn on the computer and it willtake 2-5 minutes to boot, and then it will take another 2-5 minutes to identify and connect to the wireless internet router( system). I will see it is connected to the proper system and try to open Internet explorer and get a white screen saying connecting which will stay ther for 5 minute before it states cannot connect check system. Everything is fine with the firewall, everything is fine with the settings. I have restore the internet settings to original,I have downloaded updated driver, I have decreased the amount of programs running I have defraged the system and I have checked for any viruses or malware, nothing is wrong. It just will not connect. My signal is very strong and the internet connections are good. Still my system will not connect.It will only connect properly about 90% of the time. My router is not far from me. I have 2 other laptops in the house that work just fine. One being on a XP system and it is super fast just turn the computer on and it is there, th other being a Sony Vaio that is 10 years old with 98 on it and it is fast also. WHAT is wrong with this computer? I have only had it for one year and this problem still continues even though I have talked to tech support many times. I am about as frusterated as i can get. Ready to ship it back to them and stop paying hte bill...... Someone please help
