Occasional System Freeze
Hi Gang
Happy Holidays!
I'm an older experienced Desktop user (always enjoyed Dell). Have owned a Dell Optiplex 790 (since new) for many years. Have formatted several drives. Formatted a new 1TB WD system drive last year and its been flawless. I've experienced freezes before but a recent freeze (hasn't occured again) caused everything to freeze, (the entire system) including inability to open 'Task Manager' Cntrl - Alt -Del. Was wondering if a 'Faulty Mouse' 'could' cause such a scenario? Anyway I've Defragged and ran two different Virus Scans = apparently no virus. Also replaced the mouse and so far so good ...
**Update - Just happened again :TongueTied: - Any Ideas? The Logic Board?
Thank You
