Replacing failed Internal Hard Drive
I need to buy a new hard drive for my Dimension 9150. The only details I have on the original Dell order is that the original drive was a 250Gb, 7200rpm SATA drive. I think I have now worked out that I need to make sure that any drive I purchase is a 3.5" so it physically fits but wondered if this is all the info I need to ensure my new drive is compatible.
I was wondering if there are drives that a more suited to gaming and I think this may have contributed to the failure as I have only had PC for 2.1/2 years.
Ideally I would like one with a long warranty this time. Have a price from Dell but would like to shop around if possible as there seems to be a lot out there.
