I updated a file on my Dell Inspiron N5110 after which the only way I could access my laptop was via Safe Mode. I found the offending file ‘Trusteer Endpoint Protection’  and tried to Uninstall it. I received the following message. ‘The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed’ 

Would appreciate any ideas how to sort this. Thanks
