USB Power Surge Issue
Hi,
I am using Dell Vostro 3401 running windows 10.
I was able to connect my printer earlier and worked well for months. One day, when I insert printer usb cable, it started throwing me error "Power surge on the USB port – A USB device has malfunctioned and exceeded the power limits of its hub port. You should disconnect the device"
Surprisingly, I don't see my printer under Printers & Scanners
I am not sure what went wrong. Of course, I google and followed few suggestions as below:
1. Disable power setting option for USB
2. Uninstalled Universal Serial Bus Controllers
3. Running Hardware troubleshooter.
but issue persist. Is there any way to fix this issue?
