We're looking for a way to disable all notifications from Dell Command Update (version 3.2.1) from the desktop. We have over 4,000 Dell desktops to configure this for, so hopefully there is a way to automate it via a registry edit, XML file, etc.

I found this thread to be helpful, https://www.dell.com/community/Optiplex-Desktops/Dell-Command-Update-3-1-Suppress-all-Notifications/td-p/7434466, but the solution posted by one person references a setting for 'no notifications' that I am not seeing in the 3.1.2 version under Update Settings.

From that menu, I have three choices, Notify only (when updates are available), Download updates (Notify when ready to install), and Download and install updates (Notify after complete).

For Automatically check for updates, I have that set to Manual Updates Only, yet the user still reports a notification from the task bar about Dell Command Updates being available.

I found this in the registry:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DELL\UpdateService\Clients\CommandUpdate\Preferences\Settings\Schedule]
"AutomationMode"="ScanDownloadNotify"
"ScheduleMode"="ManualUpdates"

Seems like maybe there is another option to AutomationMode, but I can not find any details on my options for that key.

Has anyone else successfully disabled all desktop notifications for Dell Command Update version 3.1.2?
