Aurora R5, intermittent problems starting from sleep or shutdown

So for a few weeks I have some issues. Sometimes when the computer goes to sleep hitting the alien power button to wake it does nothing. Also sometimes if I shut the computer down I can not turn it back on.

Moving the computer around or flicking the 2 switches on the back of the case (I have no idea what they do) can correct this issue.'

While I was back there I noticed a flashing white light. I think its flashing when the computer is asleep as well.

The green power indicator on the back is solid green.

While I am having the issue of not being able to start the computer. I have discovered that if I hold down the power button I can get it to start up for a few seconds and then shut down again. Moving the computer around and or hitting the button allows it to start fine.

Sometimes if the computer is moved it will trigger a shut down.

The side of the case on the right side has fallen off and the cable is disconnected. (Trying to be thorough)

My thoughts is something is loose since it is intermittent. But I have no idea what that even could be.

I am updated and support assist finds no problems. Operation of the computer is 100% other than the issue of waking it.

So here are the questions.

  • Where do I even begin to troubleshoot
  • What are those 2 toggle switches on the back of the motherboard
  • What is this flashing white light on the back of the motherboard
