I own an x16 R2 Alienware laptop, recently got it too. I noticed that, unlike my AW620M mouse, the morph effect on the x16 R2 seems to be broken. It morphs from color 1 to color 2, but does not finish morphing from color 2 back to color 1 like the mouse. Both use the same AWCC software. I've used the mouse successfully on more than one device with the same AWCC software.

I've reinstalled my AWCC on the x16 R2, but have not gone into drivers or anything deeper. I've also heard from another x16 R2 user who has the same findings as I.
