FS8600 CIFS Permissions Error.
We have setup a CIFS share on a volume setup for both CIFS and NFS. We are able to map a drive to the CIFS share with an account with domain admin privs but can not seem to add any additional share permission. We have tried to go though the Shared Folders snap-in from the MMC, go into the properties of the share, go to the Share Permission tab, try to add an AD user or group and get an "Unable to save permission changes..." message after trying to apply the changes. Under the Security tab we have taken ownership of the share with a domain admin account, the same account that we are logged into workstation with and checked the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects box. We can not find anything else to reference in the FluidFS NAS Admin Guide. Anyone have any ideas on how we can assign NTFS permissions to this CIFS share? Thanks!
